15th HOFA XMAS MIX CONTEST

The jury listened to, analysed and compared more than 800 contest entries (anonymously, of course) until it was finally settled who would win this year’s prizes for the best mix and the best remix of the contest song “Bloody Christmas”.
Once again, you didn’t make it easy for us – but in the end we managed to choose the different winners of the main and special prizes.
We would also like to thank all the other participants who spent a lot of time and used their creativity to make this year’s contest so exciting and interesting.
You can be sure – this was not the last XMAS MIX CONTEST!

The festive season is approaching, it is often cold and dark outside, and you feel like mixing a well-tempered Christmas song again and winning yummy prizes.

For the 15th time now, we’re celebrating the XMAS MIX CONTEST – for everyone who enjoys feastful studio work.

The song “Bloody Christmas”

This year’s contest song “Bloody Christmas” combines acoustic guitars with heavy drums, spherical keyboards and three-part vocals. The drum set for the song was recorded in our largest warehouse for acoustic modules.

As always, the contest song was written and produced by HOFA CEO Jochen Sachse – and this time, all the musicians are from the HOFA team, too.
